BREAKING BRITISH: IT'S NOTHING LIKE THIS

The hot track in the U.K. this week is Blonde and Craig David collaboration “Nothing Like This,” released by Parlophone’s dance sub-label FFRR, helmed by DJ Pete Tong. “Nothing Like This” is up four places on the Official Singles Chart at midway stage to #16, and sits at #8 on the Radiomonitor charts, with plays up 7% this rolling week to 3.5k.

The song is #22 on Spotify’s United Kingdom Top 50 and #21 on the iTunes singles chart. It’s Blonde’s sixth single release and follows Top 10 tracks “I Love You” f/Melissa Steel (#7) and “All Cried Out” f/Alex Newell (#4).

Meghan Trainor
’s “No” (RCA) is still making gains, sitting at #11 on the midweek Official Singles Chart and rising three places to #6 at Radiomonitor this rolling week. Alan Walker’s “Faded” (Relentless) has fallen #7-11 on the midweek update but is up two places at radio to #8, while “Cake by the Ocean” (Island) from DNCE makes big gains to hit #5 on the Official Chart midweek update, up from #9 on Friday, and rules the Radiomonitor charts at #1. Will continued momentum propel it to #1 at Official Chart level? As they say, stay tuned.
