CBS Radio has renewed a multi-year contract with Michael Martin, who will continue to serve as SVP of Programming and Music Initiatives as well as PD of KMVQ and KLLC San Francisco and the chain's Top 40 format captain.

Martin's programming, artist relations and event chops are all full display at this weekend's We Can Survive benefit at the Hollywood Bowl, featuring Bruno Mars, Ariana Grande, Charlie Puth, G-Eazy, Meghan Trainor, OneRepublic and Pitbull. The lavish event will raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research and prevention; more on that here. He's also spearheading CBS' Stars and Strings on 11/9, as well as The Night Before and Sun.Pool.Fun concerts in cities across the country.

The SF-based Martin oversees events for KMVQ and KLLC as well, including the former's 12/3 Triple Ho Show with Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys and other pop luminaries.
