TOP 50 SONG REVENUE CHART, STARRING "STARBOY"

He’s been inching ever closer to “Closer,” The Chainsmokers’ juggernaut, and this week, The Weeknd’s “Starboy” has made it all the way to the top of the Song Revenue Chart. “Starboy” accomplished its mission because its 12% drop in total revenue was more modest than the 33% dip of “Closer.”

Drake holds the #3 and #4 slots with a pair of advance tracks from his upcoming More Life project.

Also freshening up the leaderboard are Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic” at #6 and Maroon 5’s “Don’t Wanna Know.” f/Kendrick Lamar at #8, both tracks hanging around after their initial surges.

Methodology: On-demand audio streams are calculated at an average of .00575 per stream; however, streams from the ad-supported tier are calculated at a lower rate. Track sales are calculated at 70% of retail, with 69-cent and other discount sales pricing factored in.
