FLIPOVER FRIDAY: iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC NEW ARRIVALS

Who loves the sound of Metallica in the morning? Enough people to put their new Blackened Recordings album, Hardwired to Self-Destruct, into iTunes' Top 10 twice on flipover Friday. The deluxe edition with nine live tracks sits at #1 while the regular version is at #6.

Bruno Mars24K Magic (WMG) starts at #2 while Miranda Lambert’s first album on her RCA Nashville imprint Vanner, The Weight of These Wings, flies in at #3.

Little Mix’s fourth album, the deluxe concert film edition of Glory Days (SYCO/Columbia), unspools at #7 with DNCE’s self-titled Island debut one step behind.

Dodie’s self-released twee-pop EP Intertwined lands the online star at #9 and Prayers for the Blessed (Eleven Seven) from Nikki Sixx’s Sixx: A.M. is at #10.

“Love on the Weekend,” the new single from Columbia’s John Mayer, opens at #2 on the iTunes songs chart on the day of its release. Apple Music has no rookies in the Top 10 on either chart.
