SONGS Music Publishing (currently celebrating the #1 bow by A Tribe Called Quest) and affiliated label RECORDS are seeing early action on Noah Cyrus (kid sis of Miley), whom they've inked for both masters and publishing. The fledgling artist's “Make Me (Cry)” featuring Labrinth (which the two co-wrote) is #45 at iTunes as of this writing (and ascending at iTunes U.K.), earned 1 million streams in two days and is scoring big press love. Her forthcoming album (due in 2017) was A&R’d by SONGS’ Ron Perry, who inked her with RECORDS chief Barry Weiss. You can check out the inventive lyric video below.
