The appearance of a new Spoon single (on Matador, it turns out) occasioned Karen Glauber’s first road trip of 2017, during which she learned that a fellow Modern Rock veteran was no longer the PD at one of the format’s core stations. Those two events provided her with a jumping-off point for the latest installment of Post Toasted, which, as usual, contains a teaching moment for wayward programmers.
This much we can reveal: The next album's got amps on it.
