GAME ON FOR SCHNUR

EA's Steve Schnur is among the nominees for the 7th Annual Guild of Music Supervisors Awards, set for 2/16 at L.A.'s Ace Hotel Theatre. Steve is vying for Best Music Supervision in a Video Game for his work on Battlefield 1. He is also happy to report he has reached level 9 on the game, which entitles him to a fresh bayonet.

Among the other nominees are such supes as John Houlihan, Julia Michaels, Thomas Golubić, Manish Raval, Chris Douridas, Howard Paar, Joel C. High, PJ Bloom, Liza Richardson, Nora Felder and Madonna Wade-Reed.

Songs under consideration include the Justin Timberlake Trolls smash "Can't Stop the Feeling (penned by JT, Max Martin and Karl Johan Schuster); "City of Stars" from La La Land, performed by Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone and written by Justin Hurwitz, Benj Pasek and Justin Paul; and P!nk's "Just Like Fire" from Alice Through the Looking Glass (co-written with Martin, Schuster and Oscar Holter).
