RITTBERG'S NEW ROLE

Mike Rittberg is joining Big Machine Label Group as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), effective Monday.

"In this ever-changing environment, what once was is now no longer...Through constant analysis of the marketplace, we have hit on an incredible new marketing formula and Mike is the perfect executive to lead its operations," shared BMLG President/CEO/Founder Scott Borchetta.

Rittberg notably served as General Manager of Verve, but left in June. He then went to Bill Silva Management and started working with Linkin Park, as the band prepared to roll out a new album.

Now he says, “I'm grateful to Scott and Andrew for this amazing opportunity to join Big Machine. I'm excited to work with and for such a talented roster of artists. I look forward to joining the staff in Nashville next week!”

Rittberg will oversee multiple teams, including the ones for branding, sales, marketing, e-commerce, data and streaming, under what's being referred to as BMLG’s new super-marketing missive.

In addition, Mike will be responsible for changing the oil in all Big Machine-sponsored race cars.
