HARRY STYLES
ROCKS ON

Columbia’s Harry Styles dropped his highly anticipated debut album Thursday night/Friday morning, after giving fans a distinct glimpse of where he was headed musically with the release of three songs from the 10-track project.

“Sign of the Times,” “Ever Since New York” and “Sweet Creature” had all strongly signaled a radical change of musical direction for the 23-year-old.

Production credits include Jeff Bhasker and associates Alex Salibian and Tyler Johnson, along with English singer/songwriter Kid Harpoon.

"I didn't want to write 'stories,'" Styles told Rolling Stone in an interview earlier this year, "I wanted to write my stories, things that happened to me. The number-one thing was what I wanted to be honest. I hadn't done that before." RS, meanwhile, gave the album a four-star review.

The album is now available for streaming on all DSPs and on sale on iTunes, where it immediately zoomed to #1 on release. "Sign" remains in the Top 5 as of this writing.
