XXXCITING NEWS FROM SONGS

SONGS Publishing has four new hitmakers on its roster, inking Xxxtentacion, Linus Eklow, S1, and Andrew Wyatt to separate worldwide co-publishing deals

Xxxtentacion (pictured), a 19-year-old rapper from Florida, had his biggest track to date with “Look at Me,” which notched nearly 100m streams and 50m YouTube views. He’s signed to indie label/distribbery Empire.

Eklow, aka Style of Eye, is one half of the duo Galantis, whose 2016 debut album Pharmacy hit #1 on the dance charts. Eklow had a co-writing credit on Icona Pop’s global hit “I Love It.” Galantis’s sophomore album is expected this fall.

As a writer/producer, S1 has worked with such high-profile artists as Beyoncé, Kanye West, Jay Z, Madonna, Eminem. He collaborated with Drake on More Life and with Lorde on her upcoming Melodrama.

Wyatt, lead vocalist/writer of the indie group Miike Snow, has penned tracks for such artists as Charlie XCX, Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson, Florence + the Machine. Wyatt co-produced Lorde’s upcoming single with the artist and Jack Antonoff.
