ASBURY PARKS
AT DEF JAM

Courtni Asbury has been promoted to Vice President, Media and Artist Relations, Def Jam Recordings, and will continue to have exclusive oversight for Def Jam’s publicity activities on the West Coast.

In her new role, she will work closely with the company's executive team on the design and implementation of artist campaigns, and using new strategies and technologies to broaden the scope and impact of media campaigns. She will report directly to Gabe Tesoriero, Def Jam’s Executive Vice President, Media and Artist Relations.

“Over our many years working together, Courtni has shown through her tenacity, positivity, tireless energy and relentless drive that she is a leading young executive in our industry,” Tesoriero said.

Asbury, who started as Publicity Coordinator at the Island Def Jam Music Group in New York in 2006, has been involved in the development of Big Sean, Vince Staples, YG and others.
