A DIY upstart has broken into the UMG-dominated iTunes Top 10. “Out Loud,” self-released Wednesday by Gabbie Hanna—a soon-to-be correspondent for the revived TRL—has rocketed to #3 at iTunes, putting it behind only Taylor Swift’s double whammy. Not only that, but the “Out Loud” lyric video already has north of 1.5m+ views.
Hanna is a prominent YouTube vlogger, having pulled in nearly 6m+ combined subscribers between her two channels, The Gabbie Vlogs and The Gabbie Show—the latter also the name of her newly launched label. Her most popular video has 21m+ views.
She's known as a comedian, but does the exploding “Out Loud” mean she has a potential career as a recording artist? Check out the clip below and speculate away.
