U.K. MIDWEEKS: CAMILA CLOCKS IN AT #2

Camila Cabello is currently #2 on the U.K.’s Official Albums midweeks with Camila (Syco) sitting 5k combined chart sales ahead of last week’s #1, The Greatest Showman (Atlantic) soundtrack. Will she move ahead by Friday?

Camila was set up in Blighty with “Havana” f/Young Thug, which spent five weeks at #1 in November. The album is currently top of the iTunes Chart and it has three tracks in Spotify’s U.K. Top 50: “Havana” at #3, “Never Be The Same” at #6 and “She Loves Control” at #48.

Further down, the second highest albums entry this week could be Black Veil Brides with Vale (Island) at #10.

On the Official Singles midweek update, Eminem is on course to claim his ninth U.K. #1 single with “River” f/Ed Sheeran (Interscope) sitting 3k combined sales ahead of Sheeran’s “Perfect” (Atlantic).

Craig David f/Bastille has risen to #3 from #10 with “I Know You” (Insanity) as “Barking” (Island) by Ramz stays at #4. Jason Derulo’s “Tip Toe” f/French Montana (Warner Bros.) has moved seven places to #5.

Two more singles are set to make their Top 10 debut this week: Jax Jones f/Ina Wroldsen's “Breathe” (Polydor) jumps to #6 from #14 and Sigrid's “Strangers” (Island) flies 86 places to #8 following her BBC Sound of 2018 win. And after being crowned BRITs Critics’ Choice, will Jorja Smith rise higher than #35 with “Let Me Down” f/Stormzy (FAMM) by Friday?
