Warner/Chappell boss Jon Platt and co-head of A&R Ryan Press welcome entrepreneur/producer/songwriter Irv Gotti to the pubco. Later, Platt promised that Gotti would never have to appear on our website again.
Gotti's credits include projects and ventures with Jay-Z, Ja Rule, Ashanti, Foxy Brown, DMX, Eve, J-Lo and Fat Joe. His worldwide pact with W/C includes the music he wrote for BET's Tales, which he created and produced via his Visionary Ideas Entertainment.
Platt hailed Gotti as "an amazing music person and entrepreneur and the force behind a string of game-changing records," while the latter added, "I have been great friends with Big Jon since I got in the music biz. So I couldn't ask for a better partner."
