ROAR FOUNDERS LAUNCH NEW FIRM

Bernie Cahill and Greg Suess, the founding partners of Roar, along with fellow partner and Head of Roar’s Nashville office Matt Maher, have left the company and launched Activist Artists Management, a full-service talent management, integrated media and advisory firm.

The new company will oversee a roster of recording artists, actors, writers, directors, industry icons, brands, entertainment properties, philanthropists and high net-worth family offices. The entire Roar music roster and department has also joined Activist, which now employs 23 associates— including 11 managers. Activist's HQ will be located in West Hollywood, with offices in New York City, Nashville and Atlanta.

Liz Norris, previously Roar’sHead of Media and Brand Strategy, will join the firm as a partner and head the NY office.

Tony Khan and the Khan Family, who own the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars and London-based Fulham FC, have made a strategic investment into Activist and have separately established the Activist Content and Venture Fund, which is focused on investments in media/entertainment/hospitality/consumer products, services and technologies.

Actvisit's client roster includes, among others, the Grateful Dead, Dwight Yoakam, Morgan Page, Frankie Ballard and Dead & Company.
