ROC NATION TV UNIT SETS MEEK MILL DOC

Following the success of Peabody-winner Time: The Kalief Browder Story and Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story, both produced by Shawn Carter, Roc Nation announced a new division for producing more television content.

A six-part documentary series on Meek Mill for Amazon will be its first project.

Scheduled to premiere in 2019, the series is being produced by Roc Nation with Intellectual Property Group and filmmaker Isaac Solotaroff.

“Not only will this documentary give viewers an unprecedented look at my life, but it will also allow me to use my public platform to highlight the need for criminal justice reform,” Mill said.

EVP Scripted and Unscripted Television Patrick Reardon is a 15-year television vet, having produced long-running shows like the Project Runway franchise as well as documentary projects with a range of partners.
