YOUTUBE CHARTS APPEAR ACROSS THE GLOBE

New YouTube Music charts—based on views from more than 1.8b global monthly users— launched in 44 countries today. They include a new Trending Chart, as well as improved charts for Top Songs, Top Artists, and Top Videos.

Destinations include U.S., Japan, Germany, Brazil and the U.K. Feast your peepers on all the numbers at YouTube.com/charts.

It's worth noting that the Trending Chart—updated multiple times a day—serves as YouTube’s first dedicated external signal of the most-viewed new music on the platform, providing an instant snapshot of what users are reacting to.

More importantly, as Global Head of Moozic Lyor Cohen puts it, "It’s like when you see a doctor and they have all your vital signs—seeing a trend on YouTube Charts is like having your finger on the pulse of music." If we're using doctor metaphors, we'd prefer his finger were nowhere near us.
