The Broward County Sheriff’s Department arrested Dedrick D. Williams and charged the 22-year-old with first-degree murder in the death of XXXTentacion.
The suspect was taken into custody around 7pm EDT Wednesday, two days after the fatal shooting.
Williams has previous arrests for cocaine possession, weapons possession, domestic violence, grand theft auto and aggravated assault with a firearm. New charges include first-degree murder, a probation violation for theft of a car motor vehicle and driving without a valid license, the New York Daily News reported.
