In an exclusive interview with HITS, David Massey revealed—as part of his new Sony deal—a few details about the publishing venture that he’ll be co-helming there with his daughter, Clio.

The pubbery has been dubbed Work of Art, and Clio will serve as VP. The younger Massey was most recently Senior Director of A&R at Sony/ATV, and the House of Marty will provide admin for the new pubco.

“The whole purpose of this is to work with as many artists as we can,” David Massey adds, “in any form possible.”

“We’re going to be very active and aggressive” in growing the publishing roster, Clio affirms.
