Paul McCartney has confirmed the first five dates of his new Freshen Up Tour that will follow the release of his new studio album, Egypt Station, on 9/7 on Capitol Records.
The U.S. leg of Freshen Up begins 5/27 at PNC Arena in Raleigh, N.C., his first stop there since 2002. He will make his first-ever appearance at BSW Arena in Greenville, S.C. Tickets will go on sale to the public on 7/7; presale starts Tuesday.
To promote the new album, McCartney will be on The Howard Stern Show on SiriusXM on Wednesday and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on 9/6.
His band of the last 15+ years—Paul “Wix” Wickens (keyboards), Brian Ray (bass/guitar), Rusty Anderson (guitar) and Abe Laboriel Jr. (drums)—remains intact.
