REVENUE CHART: SOME CHRISTMAS SPENDING MONEY

History has shown us that people aren’t focused on music during Thanksgiving week, and that pattern is in evidence on our latest Song Revenue Chart, as only one track, Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next,” broke $200k, and it was down 34% from the previous week.

And speaking of seasonal patterns, the highest-earning debut was Mariah Carey’s modern-day standard, “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” which will likely be climbing the chart in the weeks to come.

Also noteworthy is the appearance of two songs from Dan + Shay—which between them generated a tidy $100k—at #49 and 50. They’re the only country act to make the chart.
