U.K. CHARTS: ATLANTIC'S "SWEET" DREAMS

Ava Max and The Greatest Showman have ended another week at the top of the U.K.’s Official Singles and Albums chart with 71k and 40.9k combined sales respectively. Meanwhile, Christmas songs exiting the Top 5 have made way for Post Malone, Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus.

Max’s “Sweet But Psycho” (Atlantic) spends a second week at the top of the singles chart today with the 71k sales including 7.95m streams.

Ariana Grande is back up to #2 with “thank u, next” (Island), followed by Malone & Swae Lee rising 16 places to #3 with “Sunflower”; Malone’s “Wow” rockets 47 slots to #5. Ronson and Cyrus are also high risers, returning to their previous peak of #4 with “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” (Columbia).

Viral dance craze track “Baby Shark” hits the Top 10 for the first time at #6, as does Zara Larsson's “Ruin My Life” (Black Butter) at #9.

On the Official Albums Chart, The Greatest Showman (Atlantic) logs its 25th non-consecutive week at #1, with 65% of sales from physical and digital downloads.

George Ezra is still #2 with Staying at Tamara’s (Columbia), Take That are back in the Top 5 with Odyssey (Polydor) and the A Star Is Born (Polydor) is up to #4. Roy Orbison and the RPO’s Unchained Melodies (Sony Music CG) moves down to #5.

Clean Bandit achieve a new peak with What Is Love (Atlantic) up 10 places to #15, Dua Lipa’s self-titled debut album (Warner Bros.) leaps 20 places to #20, The 1975 climb 11 with A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships (Dirty Hit/Polydor) at #28 and Billie Eilish’s EP, Don’t Smile At Me (Polydor), hits a new peak, ascending 12 spots to #32.
