TAG THEY'RE IT: SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

Viewers of Netflix’s On My Block, a high school drama set in South Los Angeles, are whipping out their phones while watching and pushing two tracks from up-and-comers waaaaayy up the Shazam USA Top 100.

The series, which just wrapped season two, garnered attention for 070 Shake’s “Glitter” (G.O.O.D./Def Jam) and Nao’s “Another Lifetime” (RCA). 070 Shake’s tune is the title track from an EP he released a year ago; Nao’s song appears on her second album, Saturn, which came out in October.

Two other syncs had thumbs wagging. Freya Ridings’ “Lost Without You” (Good Soldier/Capitol) secured a recent placement on Grey’s Anatomy—its third in five weeks—that coincides with the 3/1 release of her new EP. The release of Aquaman on streaming services and DVD garnered attention for Skylar Grey’s end credits song, “Everything I Need” (WaterTower).

Blake Shelton’s latest, “God’s Country” (Warner Nashville), also has Shazam users pointing their phones at speakers.
