The Music Biz 2019 Awards Dinner Tuesday night at the JW Marriott was essentially a Sony Music Nashville lovefest, as Kane Brown was honored with the Breakthrough Artist Award and Randy Goodman received the Presidential Award for Outstanding Executive Achievement while Luke Combs serenaded them.

Afterward, the posed for a photo while wondering when Jim Donio was going to present them with matching Corvettes. “Dude’s not gonna let us walk away empty-handed, is he?” a concerned Brown whispered to Goodman, who was pleased that the chicken was more edible than what was typically served at awards dinners.
