TRAVIS' "ROOM" EARNS SECOND-BIGGEST BOW OF THE YEAR

As we predicted last week, Travis Scott's "Highest in the Room" (Cactus Jack/Grand Hustle/Epic) not only dethroned Lizzo for #1 on the Hot 100, but also exploded with the second-biggest debut week for a single in 2019.

Trailing only Ariana Grande's "7 rings" (509k units), Scott's new heater now sits above Taylor Swift's "ME!" (380k units) and J. Cole's "Middle Child" (346k units) for the biggest single debuts of 2019.

"Highest in the Room" amassed 59m streams (including video) in its debut week, powering its way to #1 on the Hot 100 and a total of 402k units in activity. The last song to debut at #1 was Jonas Brothers' "Sucker."

Scott headlined New York's Rolling Loud festival over the weekend, where even a severe knee injury couldn't slow him down. His 2018 masterpiece, ASTROWORLD, currently ranks #13 in 2019 activity.

Within the last month, Scott has released a new single, announced his second annual Astroworld Festival and dropped his new line of Air Jordans; all following a major Netflix documentary, Look Mom I Can Fly, released in late August.
