FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

Justin Bieber and Lana Del Rey are sitting pretty this Flipover Friday atop the iTunes and Apple Music album charts.

Bieber’s Justice (Def Jam), his sixth album, tops the streaming chart and comes in at #2 at iTunes, while Del Rey’s own sixth album, Chemtrails Over the Country Club (Interscope), is #1 in sales and #7 on the streaming side.

Only one other release appears in the top 10 of both charts: DDG & OG Parker’s Die 4 Respect (DDG/Epic); it's at #6 at iTunes and #8 at Apple Music.

Pianist Jon Batiste, bandleader for The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, comes in at #3 with We Are (Verve).

ERRA’s self-titled fifth album, on UNFD, is #4, Benny the Butcher & Harry Fraud’s The Plugs I Met 2 (Black Soprano Family/SRFCHL) cuts in at #5 and Tom Holkenborg’s score for Zack Snyder’s Justice League (Water Tower) zips in at #7.

UMe closes out the Top 10 with two albums; Paul Stanley’s collection of ‘60s and ‘70s soul covers, Now and Then, is #9 and Ringo Starr—remember seeing him at the Grammys?—has the pandemic-themed Zoom In EP at #10.

Just outside the Top 10 are new titles from Loretta Lynn, Midland, Harry Connick Jr. and Morgan Wade.
