OSCAR NOMINEES TALK SHOP

This year’s Academy Award-nominated songwriters will gather for a Songwriters Hall of Fame virtual event on Tuesday, 4/13. Nile Rodgers and Paul Williams will host.

Best Original Song nominees Dernst “D’Mile” Emile II & Tiara Thomas ("Fight for You," Judas and the Black Messiah), Daniel Pemberton ("Hear My Voice," The Trial of the Chicago 7), Savan Kotecha & Fat Max Gsus ("Husavik," Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga), Diane Warren & Laura Pausini ("Io sì [Seen]," The Life Ahead) and Leslie Odom Jr. & Sam Ashworth ("Speak Now," One Night in Miami) will appear at the free session, where they will discuss their creative process and the challenges of writing for film, among other topics.
