RCA’s triple-Grammy-winning, multiplatinum Pentatonix are commemorating a decade since officially meeting by revisiting one of the first songs they performed together.
The quintet shared on their socials a snippet of their version of Lady Gaga’s “Telephone,” which they sang together prior to competing on NBC’s The Sing-Off in 2011.
"The first time Mitch, Scott and I performed this live was at a choir concert in Arlington, Texas,” said PTX’s Kirstin Maldonado. “This song and arrangement became bigger than we expected in our hometown circle, so it was only natural that we’d audition with it for The Sing-Off, which then took us to even bigger places than we ever would have dreamed—it definitely holds a special place in all our hearts!"
For their 20th anniversary, manager Jonathan Kalter will lip-synch the group’s entire catalog.
