WASSERMAN WELCOMES BRENT SMITH AS EVP/MANAGING EXEC

HITS has obtained a memo that Casey Wasserman sent out to his Wasserman Music troops welcoming Brent Smith aboard as EVP and Managing Executive. Rumors began circulating in May that Smith, most recently a top agent at WME, was headed to Wassville.

Wasserman hailed Smith in the memo as “a smart, genuine, professional team player who always puts clients first and is ready to embrace the Wasserman value system and culture.”

In covering the springtime rumors, we noted that Smith has repped such artists as Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell, Childish Gambino, Tyler, The Creator, Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Frank Ocean and John Legend.
