AUDACY'S SUICIDE-PREVENTION BENEFIT RAISES $700K

Coldplay, Maroon 5, Black Eyed Peas, Doja Cat, Shawn Mendes, The Kid LAROI, Saweetie and Young in a Million came together on 10/23 at the Hollywood Bowl for Audacy’s 8th annual "We Can Survive" benefit. Hosted by 97.1 NOW (KNOU-FM), the show raised more than $700,000 for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).

“The unique connection music has with its fans can help save lives,” said Michael Martin, Senior Vice President of Programming and Music Initiatives, Audacy. “After two long years, we were delighted to see this power of music and connection on full display as we shared an inspiring evening with our fans, artists and partners at AFSP.”

Young in a Million kicked off the show, followed by Saweetie and The Kid LAROI, who sang his current hit, “Stay.” The Peas, Maroon 5, Doja Cat and Shawn Mendes played a veritable jukebox of hits, while show closers Coldplay were joined by surprise guest Mel C (Sporty Spice, lest your forget), who gamely joined the band on the Spice Girls classic “2 Become 1.”
