New Kids on the Block staged a nine-minute Battle of Boston with New Edition on Sunday’s American Music Awards, the first time the two Celtics-and-Red Sox-loving groups have ever shared a stage.
They are following it up with the addition of two more dates on their MixTape Tour 2022: Rosemont, Ill.’s Allstate Arena on 6/18 and Boston’s TD Garden on 7/16. Tickets for the new dates go on sale Tuesday; fan club presales begin today.
Promoted by Brad Wavra of Live Nation and booked by CAA’s Darryl Eaton, the tour, opened by Salt-N-Pepa, Rick Astley and En Vogue, is now up to 57 arena shows.
Faculty Management's Jared Paul, manager of NKOTB, is giving A’s to his “Kids” after their AMA appearance with New Edition.
