DUO JOINS CREATE

Music tech firm Create Music Group has named Yoko Ihaza VP of Legal Affairs and Jason Zerden VP of Business Development.

Ihaza will report to Create’s Chief Legal Officer, Jon Atzen, while Zerden will report to Chief Strategy Officer Sameen Singh. They will be based in Create’s Hollywood headquarters.

Ihaza joins Create after stints at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP and Sklar Kirsh LLP, where she developed a client base of up-and-coming artists, producers and managers.

Zerden comes to Create Music Group from Stem Disintermedia, where he worked with Jeezy, Zac Brown Band and Desiigner. During his brief tenure at Create, he's already struck deals with Snoop Dogg, ssgkobe and Dave star GaTa. Zerden has also held positions at Creative Artists Agency, Virgin and McCann.

Ihaza and Zerden look forward to responding to our texts with "new phone, who is this?"
