Backstage at the second of two sold-out shows at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, country superstar Chris Stapleton receives a diamond plaque certifying 10m+ units sold of his indefatigable hit "Tennessee Whiskey" from UMG Nashville President Cindy Mabe and EVP/A&R Brian Wright. (As both country fans and chart nerds are well aware, Stapleton's breakout smash has been a fixture on our Country Song Streams chart since its inception. It's Top 15 as of this writing). A brainstorming session ensued, during which Stapleton agreed to write smashes about gin, Armagnac and pomegranate liqueur.
