U.K. CHARTS: 23 SCORES A #1

Central Cee has stormed ahead of Tears for Fears to claim his debut U.K. Official Albums #1 with mixtape 23. Over on singles, Encanto enjoys a seventh week at the top.

The self-released 23, which is distributed by ADA, betters the #2 peak of Central Cee’s debut, last year's Wild West. The new set reached #1 thanks to both streaming success and strong physical sales. Central Cee also claims today's highest new entry at singles, with "Straight Back to It" debuting at #25.

Despite looking like they were set to take the lead midweek, Tears for Fears settle for second place today with The Tipping Point (Concord).

Avril Lavigne’s Love Sux (Parlophone) is also new, at #3, followed by Johnny Marr’s Fever Dreams Pts 1-4 (BMG) at #4.

Gang of Youths enters at #10 with Angel in Realtime (Warner Music U.K.), the band's first album to chart in the U.K.

On the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart, Encanto’s “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” (Walt Disney) remains at #1 for a seventh consecutive week.

Elsewhere in the Top 5, “Where Are You Now” (Insanity) by Lost Frequencies f/Calum Scott jumps one place to #3, while “Make Me Feel Good” (Polydor) by Belters Only rises one to #4.

“Down Under” (Warner Music U.K.) from DJ Luude and Men at Work singer Colin Hay is up four to #6, and Jax Jones and MNEK reach a new high of #11 with “Where Did You Go” (Polydor).
