DRILLING DOWN:
A CORRECTION

In our story about the process of replacing Ye in the Coachella lineup, we characterized artist Travis Scott as "virtually uninsurable," referring to the lethal disaster at ASTROWORLD in Houston last year.

After the story ran we heard from one Greg Drilling, SVP at "global public strategy firm" Mercury. Mr. Drilling (pictured) objected to the contention that Scott was "virtually uninsurable" and requested we remove the phrase, asserting that it is "neither factual nor is it based on credible reporting."

As our sources were unable to confirm the contention in the story, the language has been adjusted somewhat. We’d like to thank Mr. Drilling for contacting us and to congratulate him as the first person ever to use the term “credible reporting” regarding a HITS story.
