TAG, THEY'RE IT! SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

With the TV remote in one hand and the phone in the other, Shazammers this week filled the list of Top 5 Biggest Movers with songs from TV shows.

Not only were the syncs on five different shows, they appeared on five different networks. And it’s not just in the U.S.; the U.K. is equally wild about them.

Leading the way here and across the pond is Cheryl Lynn’s 1978 disco banger “Got to Be Real” (Columbia), which was used on Killing Eve, a BBC show that runs on AMC and Hulu.

Meanwhile, a 2020 release from DJ KABOO, “Enta,” rides up the Shazam USA 100 thanks to a placement in Disney+’s Moon Knight. It's just ahead of Fatboy Slim’s 23-year-old “Praise You” (Astralwerks), which was heard on Derry Girls, the Channel 4 import on Netflix.

The Temprees’ 1972 cover of “Dedicated to the One I Love,” released on We Produce Records/Stax, benefited from a sync on FX’s Atlanta. Money Mone’s two-year-old “Family First” has a Power Book IV: Force placement on Starz to thank for its newfound popularity.
