DOES TEAM ADELE HAVE A NEW CREW IN LAS VEGAS?

Has Adele said “take that” to the creative team behind her postponed Las Vegas residency?

A report out of the U.K. says the singer has not only fired everyone involved in her Weekends With Adele residency, including design chief Es Devlin, but that she has brought in Take That’s longtime concert designer, Kim Gavin, and production designers Stufish.

Gavin has designed all of Take That’s shows since 1992; Stufish handled Stormzy’s recent Heavy Is the Head Tour and is working on The Rolling Stones’ upcoming 60th anniversary trek.

The hope is that the new version of Weekends With Adele will be up and running this summer at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace after her two shows in London’s Hyde Park. (Have these Brits ever been to Vegas in August?) It’s possible: She did tell Graham Norton in February that she was certain the residency would take place this year.

The Telegraph got all its information from “an individual who claims to have intimate knowledge about the shows.” We’ll see if they got it right.
