PROMO HITTER MUNCY JOINS DUALTONE

MNRK's Dualtone has tapped Julie Muncy as SVP of Promotion and Strategy. She will lead promo at AAA, Alternative and Americana.

In related news, Dana Murray has been named Senior Manager of Radio Creative and Promotion. She's been at the label since 2018.

Muncy, who's based in Los Angeles, will report to Dualtone President Paul Roper, who said, “Julie is so well respected and loved throughout the entire industry. We are thrilled to have her join the Dualtone family. To have someone with her level of expertise and experience be our artists’ ambassador at radio is an incredible asset for our company.”

Prior to joining Dualtone, Muncy led campaigns at Warner for more than 20 years, working with acts like The Black Keys, Wilco, The Head and the Heart, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Neil Young, Tom Petty, Lake Street Dive, Regina Spektor and Gary Clark Jr.

We asked HITS President Karen Glauber if Julie is related to Dodgers slugger Max Muncy, but all she said was, "Yay, sports!"
