VEVA LA MONEY

SoundExchange has entered into a partnership with VEVA Sound—which verifies and manages music-related metadata—to help creators get paid more quickly with fewer hiccups.

The goal is to use VEVA Sound's VEVA Collect platform to bring royalty distribution into the future. It keeps track of audio files and credits with cutting-edge, cloud-based tools.

"By integrating this metadata into our systems, we can augment our already best-in-class data platform to better pay creators when their recordings are used," said Michael Huppe, President and CEO of SoundExchange. "We look forward to working with VEVA Sound to increase the accuracy of our creator credits and build a fairer, simpler and more efficient music industry.”

We don't really get how any of this works. The only cloud-based tools we know how to use make our brains feel fluffy.
