PUMPKINS, JANE'S HAVE TRAVEL PLANS

What might have seemed a KROQ pipe dream three decades ago becomes a reality this fall when Smashing Pumpkins and Jane’s Addiction hit 32 North American cities on their Spirits on Fire Tour.

The Live Nation-produced trek presenting the AGI-repped bands opens 10/2 in Dallas and wraps 11/19 at the Hollywood Bowl. They’ll play Madison Square Garden on 10/19 and the new UBS Arena on Long Island on 10/14.

Pre-sales start Thursday; the general on-sale begins Friday.

The Red Light-managed Smashing Pumpkins will discuss the tour Thursday on CBS’ The Late Late Show With James Corden and appear today (5/11) at the TCL Chinese Theater on Hollywood Blvd. to put their handprints in cement. We’re hoping they’ll pop into our office and water the ferns.
