FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES & APPLE MUSIC

Diamond Star Halos (Bludgeon Riffola/Mercury/Republic), Def Leppard’s first studio album in seven years and 12th overall, tops the iTunes chart this Flipover Friday. The debut from RCA’s Tate McRae is the top new arrival at Apple Music.

McRae’s i used to think i could fly (RCA) is the only rookie in both Top 10s, opening at #8 on both the sales and streaming charts.

Right behind Def Leppard is the Top Gun: Maverick soundtrack (Interscope), featuring Lady Gaga’s “Hold My Hand,” at #2. Wilco’s 12th full-length, Cruel Country (dBpm), is #4, one slot ahead of Mark Tremonti Sings Frank Sinatra (JMM/Slow Down Sounds). Fresh off celebrating Manchester City’s Premier League championship, Liam Gallagher is #6 with the Deluxe Edition of C’mon You Know (Warner).

A 20th anniversary expanded edition of Eminem’s The Eminem Show (Aftermath/Shady/Interscope), featuring 18 previously unreleased tracks, drops in at #7 at iTunes and #15 at Apple Music.

Seventeen’s fourth album, Face the Sun (Pledis), shines at #9, while Millyz’s Blanco 5 (Perfect Time Music Group) is #10.

At iTunes songs, country singer Chase McDaniel’s self-released “Project” is #1.
