WEEZER'S LATEST: IT'S NOT JUST SPIN

Alternative hookmeisters Weezer have found an inventive way to deliver their new single, "Records." This clever device, plus an explanatory TikTok video about the story behind the gimmick supporting the Crush-repped band's latest song, is viewable at a site called Human Record Player. The notion is, you spin around in a circle to get the song to play. We tried it and it works—the "record" plays at the speed of your spinning (and stops if you do). Now, of course, we badly need some Dramamine.

The Crush-driven Hella Mega Tour, on which Weezer joins Green Day and Fall Out Boy, is currently making its raucous way through Europe. We can only hope all concerned are spinning in the same direction the earth is turning.
