FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES & APPLE MUSIC

One of the two songs Billie Eilish released Thursday shoots straight into the iTunes Top 5, while Joey Bada$$ makes a solid early showing at iTunes and Apple Music albums this Flipover Friday.

Eilish’s “TV” (Darkroom/Interscope) is already #3 on the sales side. The Gen-Z chanteuse released “TV” and “The 30th” as the EP Guitar Songs, saying she didn’t want to wait until she had a full album ready to release them.

Meanwhile, Joey Bada$$’s 2000 (Pro Era/Columbia) is the lone new arrival in the Top 20 in both sales and streams, hitting #6 at iTunes and #12 at Apple Music in the early morning hours.

Topping the iTunes albums chart is Odesza’s The Last Goodbye (FFC/Ninja Tune), followed by Jack White’s second album this year, Entering Heaven Alive (Third Man), at #2 and the soundtrack to the ZZ Top documentary RAW: That Little Ol’ Band From Texas (Shelter/BMG), at #4.
