ASTRALWERKS ELEVATES ARMITAGE TO SVP

Luke Armitage has been named SVP at CMG's Astralwerks following four years as VP of marketing.

He will command global marketing and daily operations for the label and its overseas brands, which include Astralwerks Asia, from the Tower.

Working with such artists as Marshmello, Bastille and Meduza, Armitage helped the company become the #1 dance and electronic label in U.S. marketshare in only 12 months.

"Luke has been integral to the growth and success of Astralwerks since he joined in 2018, leading numerous game-changing campaigns and expertly guiding our team," proclaimed Astralwerks President Toby Andrews. "His forward-thinking approach to international and domestic marketing as a combined discipline has really taken the label to the next level, and I’m so thankful to have him growing into this new role as we look to the years ahead.”

Armitage's career began in 2008 at Universal Music Publishing Group in London, where he was a sync assistant. His skills also include being able to keep a straight face while watching us attempt to dance.
