Quantcast

GOT TO BE THERE

During a shindig at the newly expanded Motown Museum in Detroit, UMe chief Bruce Resnikoff and UMG General Counsel/EVP Biz & Legal Jeff Harleston prepare to toss a coin for the last Baby Ruth bar in the office candy machine, unaware that Stevie Wonder has already snagged it. Needless to say, the museum's latest event, which drew Smokey Robinson and other luminaries to celebrate a trove of the greatest songs ever written and recorded, just preceded the departure of the great tunesmith Lamont Dozier, whose contributions to the Motown catalog are enormous and essential.
