Seasoned music exec and Atlanta native Brandon Farmer has joined Quality Control's artist-management arm, Solid Foundation, as partner. Farmer, who previously repped rising star Latto, will focus on expanding the artist-management roster.
“Brandon is a perfect fit for us,” said Solid Foundation President Simone Mitchell. “He fights for his clients and makes a real impact on their careers, and that’s the type of energy we’re looking for.”
Farmer got his start in the biz on Justin Bieber's team, then made his bones on the road guiding acts like Kelly Rowland, Jeremih, Sevyn Streeter and Rotimi. He oversaw Latto's breakthrough under the auspices of his own B. Farmer Management.
“Brandon’s industry connections and expertise are a major asset,” said QC CEO Pierre “P” Thomas. “Between his new role as partner and our partnership with Soundcloud, we’re letting people know that Solid Foundation is out here expanding far beyond our original ventures.”
