SPOTIFY LIGHTS UP ADE

Thousands of electronic-music fans descended on the Netherlands last week for the 27th annual Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), of which Spotify was a sponsor.

During the event 10/19-23, the streamery mounted activations like an in-person Spotify for Artists Masterclass that saw industry experts school emerging artists and DJs on how to optimize their use of the platform. The session highlighted new features geared toward DJs and genre advances and trends.

Spotify also took over the Amsterdam skies with drone shows to celebrate the launch of new DJ Mixes by Tiësto, Aluna, BLOND:ISH and Yung Bae. Fans were able to scan QR codes from the air to launch the mixes on the Spot on the spot.

Said Spotify Global Head of Creative Artist Partnerships Ashley Graver, "We're so excited to partner with ADE. Spotify is deeply dedicated to the dance genre, and this was an incredible opportunity to showcase a few of the programs we have."

The confab culminated with an industry mixer boasting the likes of Afrojack, Coco & Breezy and Eliza Rose.
