MIXTAPE DRIVES FAST

Universal Music Group and Artist Partner Group have the perfect mixtape for your next road trip in your Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R: The Fast & Furious: Drift Tape (Phonk Vol 1).

Universal Pictures is spending the next few weeks reintroducing characters from the Fast & Furious saga, accompanying the effort with singles from Drift Tape (Phonk Vol 1), which comes out 12/16.

Led by APG CEO Mike Caren and Victor Victor Worldwide CEO Steven Victor, the project features music and collaborations from phonk’s biggest artists, including MUPP, who's behind the mixtape’s second single, “Punishment.” The lead single, Kordhell’s “9 in My Hand,” was released 11/4.

The continuing release schedule for singles is “4” by Kaito Shoma on 11/18, “Comeback” by SCXR Soul on 12/2 and "Popped" by Pharmacist f/Juicy J on 12/9.

Said Caren, “Starting with the natural fit of the Drift Phonk Tape and building speed towards an epic soundtrack couldn't be more exciting."

The music is coming out six months before the 10th edition of the series; Fast X arrives in theaters on 5/19.
