U.K. CHARTS: A FIRST FOR LOUIS

Louis Tomlinson has his first solo U.K. Official Albums #1 with Faith in the Future (BMG). Over on singles, Taylor Swift makes it a month at the top.

Tomlinson beat robust competition from Bruce Springsteen’s Only the Strong Survive (Columbia) to nab the top spot this week. The Boss charts at #2.

Andrea Bocelli’s A Family Christmas (Decca) rises 42 places for a new peak of #5, while Christmas With Alex & Russell (BMG) by Alex Jones and Russell Watson charts at #14. Wizkid’s More Love, Less Ego (RCA) is new at #16.

On the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart, Swift’s “Anti-Hero” (EMI) holds onto #1 for a fourth week. Three tracks have the potential to knock it from its seat next week, however: Robin Tree and Robin Schulz’s “Miss You” (Atlantic) is up one to #3, Meghan Trainor’s “Made You Look” (RCA) rises four to #4 and “messy in heaven” (Columbia) by Venbee & goddard. is also up four, to #5, thanks to a new remix featuring ArrDee.

Two tracks re-enter the Top 10: Anne-Marie and Aitch’s “PSYCHO” (Atlantic) rises seven to 7, while Rihanna’s “Lift Me Up” (Def Jam) is up three to #9 following the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Rising Afrobeats star Rema claims his first U.K. Top 10 single, with “Calm Down” (Interscope) at #10. The song has been bolstered by a remix featuring Selena Gomez.
