THE LENNY BEER
PRE-HOLIDAY ALBUM

It would be a stretch to say the pandemic is over—especially given an uptick in COVID cases and the revival of the masking recommendation in L.A.—but there’s no question that things have improved enough of late that people are truly out and about. This is generally good news, until you consider that while out and about, you might run into our own Lenny Beer. What follows is a gallery of biz folks who've allowed themselves to be photographed with and/or by our intrepid editor in chief.

Beer takes a courtside selfie with Warner Co-Chairman/COO Tom Corson during a UCLA tuneup game and almost gets Tom's face in the frame.

Capitol EVP Gordan Dillard recalls the sage words of his boss, Michelle Jubelirer: "Just let him point at you and eventually he'll go away."

Interscope Vice Chairman Steve Berman, talking on the phone that's been glued to his body for the last 20 years, hopes the sound of nearby trucks will drown out Beer's small talk.

Longtime exec and manager Freddy DeMann, still spry at 83, poses with Lenny, who has never been spry.

Lenny photobombs an otherwise sensational pic with Quincy Jones Productions' Thomas Duport, Arista VP A&R/Co-Head of Urban Music Khris Riddick-Tynes, Arista boss David Massey, artist Idman and QJP's Jordan Abrams and Max Mason.

Beer with A&M Records great Michael Leon and part of promotion great Richard Palmese. Hey, Lenny's only had the phone for two years and is still figuring out the camera.

Leon and management great Jim Guerinot remember that time HITS spelled their names right.

Ken Ehrlich had hoped to enjoy his coffee in peace, but Lenny insisted on firing up the Grammy Speculatron-3000.

Songwriter-producer extraordinaire Lauren Christy goes to her happy place while Lenny tells a hilarious story about data tabulation.

Jeff Rabhan, who recently returned to L.A. after a decade as an instructor at NYU's Clive Davis School, is reminded of his time at HITS and uses his coping tools to fend off the PTSD.
